New Year Goodies
Woman section Welfare unit and the Youth Wing gave away food goodies for nine needy families today at the SUPP headquarters.
Tan Kai, Youth Central Chairman said with the coming of the Chinese New Year, they wanted to bring a little joy to the less fortunate. Ang pows were also distributed to the elderly.
“We do not want the less fortunate to think that society has forgotten them and it is important that on this auspicious day, it is important to portray a caring society for the sake the needy.
The food stuff were donated by a Kenyalang-based Charitable organisation, “house of Si Yuan”.
