SUPP “Chap Goh Meh with the Rakyat”
The SUPP Chinese New Year ‘Chap Goh Meh with the Raykat’ celebration is to be held at Jubilee Ground here on March 6.
The working committee for the event, headed by Supp Central Women’s chief Datin Jennifer Chee and its advisor Ms Amy Tnay, have invited the various Chinese Clan Associations and various Community Associations to co-organised and support the auspicious event where our Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem has accepted the invitation to be the Guest~of ~Honour.
In this event there will 9 Dragons and 36 Lions performing, fireworks display, photograph competition, street dancing and singing, as well as wushu, silat and Indian martial arts demonstrations.
A Lucky draw and a packed meal per person will be provided for those with the invitation card where 10,000 have being issued to the various association members and the public.
The organising committee would like to thank the overwhelming support given for the event and invite the public to join in the celebration.
