SUPP Pending celebrating the coming Chinese New Year
While Chinese New Year is around the corner and everyone is busy with their house cleaning, decoration as well as shopping, SUPP Pending Women has not slackened but continue to pay more attention on social welfare issues. Beside health screening and student’s co- curricular activities, committees also focus on poverty, abused and neglected children.
The SUPP Pending Women Section together with PERWANI organization under the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development – PERWANI Bijak, PERWANI Phoenix and PERWANI Pending will organize an activity with Kuching Children’s Home on coming 7 Feb (Saturday) at Kenyalang Shopping Center. The activity aim to make children more aware of the care and encouragement by our society. Also to let the children experience the traditional culture of Chinese.
Children will also visit the 3D Mural and took photo with the Ulu lady. Apart of school works, co-curricular is also very important. Balanced development of all aspect is crucial to ensure healthy life. To educate children on 3D wall art creation, in addition to cultivate the spirit of art and contribution toward society. This is the key of creating a harmonious social environment. The activity is in line with the objectives of Party and complying with the call of Party President and Secretary-General: SUPP wants to be with the People. Party President Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and Board Chairman of Chai Ching Muk & Sons Holdings Sdn Bhd Datin Seri Then Lau Fah will also be attending the activity.
