SUPP congratulations
SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin took to his Facebook to congratulate MCA new President, Dato’ Liow Tiong Lai and Deputy Wee Ka Siong. Liow defeated Gan Ping Sieu with 1,186 votes against 1,000, while former president Ong Tee Keat bagged only 160 votes.
Incumbent President of MCA, Chua Sio Lek did not defend his post.
Chin who was formerly the Minister for Energy, Green Technology and Water would be facing his own party election next year in the SUPP Triennial Delegate Conference, during which a new Central committee would be elected.
