Upcoming Dog Licensing, Anti-Rabies & Microchipping Programme this Week
MPP Chairman, Tan Kai announced a Free Dog Licensing, Anti-Rabies Vaccination & Microchipping Programme, which will take place on Saturday, 28 June 2025, at the Parking Lot of Kota Sentosa Basketball Court.
He said it was organised in collaboration with the Department of Veterinary Services Sarawak (DVSS) and supported by the Kota Sentosa Basketball Club, the programme aims to curb the spread of rabies and promote responsible pet ownership among residents.
MPP extends its sincere appreciation to the Kota Sentosa Basketball Club for graciously allowing the use of the venue in support of this important community health initiative.
Tan Kai encouraged dog owners in Padawan to bring their pets for free vaccination, microchipping, and licensing services. Additionally, MPP is providing a RM150 neutering subsidy for the first 50 dogs that are vaccinated, licensed, and registered with th Council on the day.
He said MPP remains committed and continues to actively deliver services to make Padawar more sustainable and liveable community.
