Dapur Komuniti To Give opportunity For Kampung Folks
Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang, recently attended and expressed his support for the Dapur Komuniti Sesi 1 programme held at the Kampung Haji Baki Community Hall.
Lo said this sort of programme brought up talents in cooking and building skills for the Kampung folks.
He said it also promotes healthy lifestyle and strengthen closer relationships among the Kampung communities.
The initiative was organised by One Goal Malaysia in collaboration with SKUAD Antidadah Kuching.
Lo expressed galdness by the enthusiasm shown by the participants.
He said watching them work is delightful as the group besides learning to prepare Gochujang Chicken and Rice Balls, they also managed to add a unique Sarawakian twist to the Korean dishes.
Lo congratulated the winning team, selected by a judging panel from AADK Kuching, who received a cooking pot as a prize and encouraged them to continue practising healthy habits at home.
“Well done to everyone involved. Let’s continue working together to build a strong, healthy, and harmonious community,” he added.
