Piasau State Assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting celebrates Hari Raya with senior citizens
Piasau State Assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting expressed his gratitude to the organisers for inviting him to the Hari Raya Aidilfitri gathering with senior citizens.
“I am truly honoured to join this meaningful celebration with our senior citizens, who have contributed so much to shaping the society we live in today.
“Events like this not only strengthen our bonds of friendship but also serve as a platform to appreciate and honour our elderly, who remain the backbone of both the family institution and the community,” he said.
Ting also took the opportunity to share about several Sarawak state government initiatives such as the SCHB Programme and the Kenyalang Gold Card, which are designed to provide support and ease for senior citizens, particularly in terms of healthcare and daily needs.
“I hope more programmes like this will be organised in the future to promote the wellbeing and welfare of our senior citizens,” he added.
