Datuk Sebastian Ting inspects Lutong Park
Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian inspected the completed Lutong Recreation Park and hoped that the public could make full use of the park facilities.
Ting said he allocated RM800,000 through the 2023 Rural Transformation Grant Program to start the restoration project, which included lightings, repairing the track, adding cement seats, playground facilities, sports equipment facilities and other items to the leisure park.
Ting said that the improvement project listed in the first phase is mainly to help increase lighting to prevent the surrounding area from being dark at night, repair the runway, add cement seats, add playground facilities and sports equipment facilities, etc.
When he went to Lutong area to provide grassroots services in the past, Ting said he received feedback from local residents who hoped he will assist to restore the Lutong Leisure Park.
