Road closure in Miri on Saturday 27th April

In connection with Miri City Car-Free Day, road of Jalan North Yu Seng and Jalan Merpati, half road of Jalan Persekutuan, Jalan
Kipas, Jalan Sylvia and Jalan Parry will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, 27th April 2024 from 5.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Due to the half-day road closure, Miri City Council would like to remind the vehicle owners to plan ahead owing to the road closure and prepare for road option to reach their destinations.

Apart from stationing traffic wardens, appropriate traffic diversion road signs will be put up at the site to facilitate the car owners of making road
diversion.

By cause of the high volume of visitors attending the event goers,
parking will be limited. The following parking options will be available
to event, Jalan Ansellia car park, Jalan Zinnia car park, Jalan Calliandra car park, Jalan Helenium car park and Jalan Unus car park.

The Council invites all to join this Car-Free Day and be part of a global effort to reduce traffic and improve air quality by taking greener trips.

A series of activities will be organized on that day, including dance exercise, fun walk, fun games and lucky draws.
