Dato IR Lo Khere Chiang distributes vegetarian food at Mile 3 Market
A total of 500 packets of vegetarian food was distributed to public organised by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) Kuching.
Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Dato IR Lo Khere Chiang who helped in distributing the vegetarian nasi lemak to the hawkers and patrons at Mile 3 Wet Market yesterday expressed his thanks to Iskcon Kuching who was able to prepare 500 packs of food despite their small community.
He said he had been joining them for years in presenting these foods to markets or meet the people and it is pleasant to see the faces of appprciation from the public.
Lo said it is also healthy to eat vegetarian food.
