Eric Tay gets support from PBB Dato Sri Hajah Rohani Binti Abdul Karim
Dato Sri Hajah Rohani binti Abdul JArim lends her support to Bandar Kuching candidate (GPS-SUPP) Eric Tay Tze Kok on Wednesday night by paying him and his team a visit at the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) branch.
Rohani who is the Chairman of Padungan PBB said Eric Tay is the right candidate to represent Bandar Kuching as being a young new face, he can be capable of carrying out his manifesto for the Kuching community.
She believed that Tay can recapture Kuching City from DAP who has been there for the past 18 years but could see not much changes done.
Eric Tay, she added, being young and educated has new ideas to share with the voters in Kuching City which will benefit the public as a whole.
She also urged the voters to cast their votes wisely by giving Tay who represent GPS a chance to fight for them in Parliament. She assured that GPS will always rally behind Tay to realise his manifesto.
GPS, she added, need a bigger voice in Parliament so that they can regain back the MA63 rights for Sarawak. Pointing out that the 22 months of Pakatan Harapan (PH) rule has no positive impact for Sarawakians, there is an urgent need for change for Kuching and Sarawak.
Rohani said GPS is fighting hard to see the victory of 31 parliamentary seats in Sarawak as this fight is an important one for GPS to be fighting independently.
Tay is facing incumbent Dr. Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen (PH-DAP) and PSB Chairman, Voon Lee Shan in a three corner fight.”
On Wednesday afternoon, Tay launched his manifesto and vows to tackle flood issues in the city which has been badly affecting business sectors in the city and rebuilding the aging infrastructure in the city.
