New building for Kuil Chun Thai Ti and Tai Pak Kung
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang said it was due to our GPS Government that allows us to be able to practice multi-religion without fear.
In a thanksgiving ceremony at Kuil Chun Kuin Thai Ti and Tai Pak Kung, Jalan Semaba, he said a building next to a temple for an office and a stage which is done nicely with assistance from Unifor.
We must appreciate what we have today.
UNIFOR is only found in Sarawak to give assistance for temples, churches and Indian temples. We should not take things for granted. If we don’t have liberal chief ministers, now and before , we cannot take good care of our multi racial religious buildings.
Over in West Malaysia, he said even alcohol and lottery tickets cannot be sold. But here, we have the freedom to practise our religion.
Lo also asked the public to give their support to Sentosa candidate, Wilfred Yap for a chance in the election.
Yap, who spoke briefly, asked for a chance to prove himself.
The temple was given RM 100,000 while for the rest of RM 400,000 was funds raised by the temple
