SUPP 55th anniversary dinner in Miri
About 1,500 SUPP leaders and members from five branches banded together in a true sense of comradeship as they celebrated the party 55th anniversary dinner at the Merizt hotel tonight.
The branches, Bekenu, Piasau, Pujut, Lambir and Senadin Chairman and members have all the reason to celebrate as two branches, Bekenu and Piasau, which were de-registered early this year, were back “in business” after the Registrar of Society accepted their appeals.
The dinner was filled with speeches, songs and dances and testimonies from old cadres who gave an insight of their love and loyalty for the party.
Publicity Chief, Dato’ Sebastian Ting who was also in the organising committee apologized to members who could not join them as the hotel could not accommodate more tables.
