SUPP wants Mambong, Engkilili and Opar
SUPP especially those from Mambong, Opar, Simanggang and Engkilili are staking a claim in its four traditional Bumiputera state constituencies.
While officiating the launching of the party’s Mambong branch operation room and election machinery, SUPP deputy president Dato Sri Richard Riot Jaem, who is Prime Minister’s special Envoy to East Asia (Japan, South Korea and Taiwan) with full minister status, calls on the grassroots of the party to throw full support to the potential candidates shortlisted by the party’s Bumiputera Bureau days ago.
Riot, who is also the Bumiputera Bureau Chairman, reiterated his support on the stance of the Bureau which is adamant that the three Bumiputera majority seats of Mambong, Opar and Engkilili be returned to the party come the 12th state election.
For Mambong, SUPP Bumiputera Bureau has shortlisted Andrew Victor Nub, Jimson Jium and Ahkim Sarok as potential candidates.
The three are introduced to congregation during the launching ceremony.
SUPP Mambong branch chairlady Datin Jennifer Alice Chee Moinie said that the branch members are all set to face the challenge of state election. “We are all ready for it” she emphasized.
