Drainage issue at Taman Riverview Bintawa solved
Kuching City South cleaned up the Taman Riverview drains after the Mayor assured that he will do so, said Milton Foo, SUPP Youth Central Secretary General.
Foo said last month during a gotong royong campaign at Taman Riverview, he brought MBKS Mayor for a walkabout at the area to look at the surrounding drains together with Kapitan Chung Chong. Pointed.
He told the Mayor that the drains there were never being flushed or washed for decades causing debris & soil underneath the drain resulting blockage.
After the cleanup, the residents there very happy and thanked Foo for raising it up to mayor.
Foo added that he had received numerous complaints from the residents there about stagnant water at the backlane drain.
