Mayor Adam Yii spot check on Taman Tunku

Mayor Adam Yii with Councillors and Council staff went on a spot check service in Taman Tunku area despite heavy rain yesterday.

He found that some of drains were not cleared properly causing a surge in dengue cases there.

Yii also spoke to the contractor to follow the instructions of council to clear the drains.

He was told that some of the house were illegal extended thuss blocking the drains thus the contractor was not able to clean up the drains.

Yii also call for co-operation from the public to ensure that their area are clean.
