Financial assistance for schools
Minister for Local Government and Housing, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian gave away his first part of financial assistance for SMK Batu Kawah, SK Stapok, SJKC Stapok, SJKC Sungai Tapang & SM Min Lit.
Dr. Sim who went to visit the schools recently said it is also an opportunity to understand issues and seeing the progress of the various projects first hand.
After 54 years, he said he is happy to see SK Stapok had a “Dewan” and students were no longer exposed to bad weather.
He also praised the efficiency of the SJKC Stapok Rebuilding Committee for the Basketball Court and athletic tracks and is confident that the 3rd new classroom block will be up in no time.
