Milton: beware of lies from orang Malaya politicians

Milton Foo

Everyone tends to promise the return of the autonomous rights under MA63 to Sarawak. In GE14 PH manifesto, it was succinctly stated in the pledge that if PH takes over Putrajaya and become the new government, they will honour their promises and return those rights to us unequivocally.

PH has now become the federal government for more than 100 days. Yet Sarawakians have not seen any steps taken by the new government for such a move to return those rights to Sarawak.

Now Rafizi is coming to Sarawak to campaign for his party election, who is again making exactly the same promises as in PH manifesto during the GE14 campaign, ie to return the rights of Sarawak to the people of Sarawak.

Can a leader as such be trusted again especially a Malayan politician?

I leave it to the wisdom of the people of Sarawak to make an informed judgment.

There is a saying that a lie told often enough becomes the truth. “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”, is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels. The illusion of truth can be a dangerous weapon in the hands of a propagandist like Joseph Goebbels. This is how liars create illusion of truth.
