Dr Sim – decision of Federal Court a victory for Sarawak

The decision of the Federal Court is a victory to the people of Sarawak, thanks to the Sarawak legal team for their diligent and learned homework. said the President of SUPP, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian.

Despite the Federal Court decision, the government of the day must continue to be on guard and be ready to safeguard Sarawak rights, at the same time anticipate more threats to our rights in the near future.

This proves that the London trip was not a wastage as previously claimed by DAP, who claimed that if PH are in power they would not even need negotiations to get back our rights. However at this critical moment, they are not only silent, but instead stood by the PDA and said no good words to support Sarawak Government in the suit.

Worse still DAP even misled Sarawak people to continue to believe and blamed on our past Sarawak Government YBs for “signing away” our rights. This clearly shows that DAP is a mere Malayan party which is not on our Sarawak side.

Our rights are our rights. No individual official or any laws can diminish, take away or change the sovereignty rights that belong to Sarawak and her people. Sarawakians must unite together to protect and fight for our rights, Sarawakians need to be aware that many are all out not only to continue to share what’s ours but to try and take them away from us and our future generations.
