The Bon Fire Team against Hudud

Bon Fire Team is demanding DAP Sarawak to explain why its leaders are condoning and playing along with Pakatan Rakyat’s political agenda to implement Hudud.

Firstly they had agreed to field a Malay candidate instead of a Chinese YB to contest in a Chinese majority area of Kajang, allowing a 2/3 majority of bumi seats in Selangor State Legislative, and now they are fielding yet another Malay candidate in Teluk Intan to succeed a deceased Chinese YB in yet another Chinese majority area.

Bon fire team has warned the public at large on numerous occasions that DAP was working in cahoots with PAS to help the party in pursuing the party’s Hudud and now the Rakyat can see for themselves DAP’s hidden agenda to take over power at the expense of all Malaysians by plotting with PAS’s ambitious Islamic agenda, starting with the tabling of private member bill to implement Hudud law in Kelantan in the Parliament this September. With the nomination of a Malay candidate to represent DAP in Teluk Intan, it is apparent that DAP has further strengthened PAS’s agenda to introduce Hudud law in the country.

Bon Fire team has been consistent in its stance against Hudud. On the contrary, DAP’s move to have as many Malay YBs in the Parliament to push its agenda is evidence of DAP’s insincerity and is a real cause of concern for all Malaysians regardless of their race, culture and religion.

DAP’s candidate in Teluk Intan is now proven to have been a promoter of PERKASA by helping her mother to run the organisation’s operations. With her mother’s recent admission, DAP now has no more excuses to brush everything aside by saying they do not know anything about it. It is apparent that whilst DAP has made umpteen statements against PERKASA and its members, it has no qualms or whatsoever to promote a candidate so closely associated to the right wing group.

DAP Teluk Intan candidate publicly stated that she personally would not stand against the implementation of Hudud law but would keep to the party’s stand of protecting the Constitution. The Bon Fire Team cannot understand, why DAP did not even propose to have Malays’ Special Position as stated in the Article 153 of our Constitution to be changed or removed, so that ‘Malaysian’s Malaysia’ the party is promoting can be implemented whereby all government policies will be based on meritocracy. This is double standard practice typical of DAP to hoodwink the urban and Chinese voters to further segregate the urban and rural divide.
