Dr Sim’s visit to China
SUPP Senator Dr. Sim Kui Hian who is also the Secretary general of the party and the Youth Central Chairman, Tan kai joined a Malaysian delegation led by Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Najib Razak and Youth UMNO Chief, Khairy Jamaluddin on a diplomatic trip to Beijing in conjunction with the 40th year of diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
The entourage visited the International department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, with a welcome banquet hosted by the Communist Youth league of China and the All China Youth Federation at the Capital Hotel.
Sim, Khairy and MCA Youth Chief, Senator Chong Sin Boon, were invited to give speeches during the dinner.
Sim said he spoke on the former Prime Minister, Tun Razak and his father, visiting China 40 years ago. Of special significance, today he and the present Prime Minister, son of Tun Razak, are continuing with the work of the two countries’ bilateral relationship.
