Visa on arrival for PRC visitors
The state government’s decision to provide Visa on Arrival facility for tourists from the People’s Republic of China entering Sarawak beginning December this year is good news for everyone.
State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato’ Sebastian Ting said he was informed by the DCM, Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, of this recently.
He said the facility would be available at entry points such as airports and the immigration checkpoint in Sungai Tujuh, Miri.
Datuk Amar Abang Johari who is also Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, made the announcement at a function in Bekenu recently.
The state cabinet’s decision on the visa of the tourists from China will be approved upon their arrival in Sarawak will help further develop the state’s tourism industry.
