Forum on The Relevancy of SUPP
SUPP Kuching Branch, Padungan Youth Movement and Kuching Youth Get-Together Centre are jointly organising an open forum entitled “The Forum—The Relevancy of SUPP” on March 16 at Hilton Hotel, Kuching.
The forum will serve as a platform for the public to voice their opinions on issues pertaining to the party in the context of the political scenario in Sarawak. The forum, which will take place from 1.00pm to 4.30pm, is also intended to enlighten participants on the politics of Sarawak as well as issues affecting all segments of the community. It will be a discussion for the purpose of learning and communicating with one another.
Four renowned speakers, who are not from any political parties, will be speaking on various issues at the forum. They are Unimas senior lecturer and political analyst Dr. Jeniri Amir, prominent businessman Richard Wee Liang Chiat, chartered accountant Tay Chze Cheng and columnist LiewWuiChern. The forum will be conducted in English and Mandarin.
While the forum is meant for any individual with an interest in politics to understand the underlying issues affecting Sarawakians, it is not a platform to discuss sensitive issues such as pertaining to religions or factions of SUPP, as it is solely on the relevancy of the party and confined to the issues through topics that will be delivered by our speakers.
Admission is free, and the tickets have all been given away as of today. The forum’s working committee urges those who wish to attend to contact SUPP Kuching Branch for ticket enquiries at 082-244633 between 9am and noon on or before Friday (15 March).
