Kampong Bumbok food fair
State assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang congratulated the residents of Kampung Bumbok for having a great success food fair.
Lo said it was good of the Kampung Bumbok community to come out to earn extra for themselves by organising such pesta, a food fair which was set up with 33 stalls of local food, home grown vegetables and jungle produce.
He said the Padawan Municipal council of which he is the Chairman, has provided the infrastructure for the people.
The stall was located at the junction of Jalan Stephen Yong and Batu Kitang road.
Lo said food and vegetable grown by the local are healthy and free from pesticide. He said Kuching people should patronise such stalls to boost up the resident’s efforts and to enjoy fresh food and vegetables.
He called to other kampungs to set up such stalls too as a way of earning an extra income in this difficult time.
