Improvement for Kpg Tengah Sungai Riverbank Erosion project
The Drainage and Irrigation department (DID) has allocated a sum of RM820,000 for Kpg Tengah Sungai Riverbank Erosion project
Minister for Local Government who is also the President of SUPP, Senator Datuk Professor Dr Sim Kui Hian announced this at the earth breaking ceremony at Kpg Tengah Sungai, Batu Kawa recently.
The project, he said, was to prevent the road being further eroded by the river which is 400 meters.
Dr. Sim expected the project to be completed within 6 months.
He said this was also a promise made to the voters during the recent state election.
