Helping out the unfortunate
It was easy for Dato Sebastian to show his kinder side when he expressed his empathy when he said it is heart breaking to see an eight year old boy working day and night to help his family.
Feeling the need to do something, the SUPP Piasau Youths, led by State Assemblyman for Piasau went over to visit the boy ‘s family, together with the Welfare department. The poor family have no proper house to stay, and is now renting a room for 10 of them.
The mother is a single mom, not working and still taking care of the young ones. Nine of them have not had a proper school to study. The Welfare department is now in the process of helping her children to send them to school.
Ting said a monthly aid will also be given to the mother to help her take care of the unfortunate family.
