Dr Sim signing chinese new year cards
With Chinese New year approaching, Deputy Chief Minister, Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian went on his normal task of writing out Chinese new year cards to wish the sender a happy new year. 程明智：人联党向来鼓励年轻人关心政治
砂人联党青年总团长程明智强调，从群众中来的该党，向来积极鼓励年轻人关心政治及参政拥护砂权益斗争，以成为未来的领导者，列为政治斗争目标。 他指出，人联党欢迎青年人加入，由一开始就将入党的年龄定在年满18岁开始，在1959年创党为砂拉越政治斗争，都在培养年轻一代，团结着老中青党员。 亦是砂助理砂助理公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长程明智指出，18岁的年轻人已获得投票权，为政坛掀开新的一页，人联党青年总团对此感到欢迎。 他表示，这可使年轻一代所持的理想心声，包括对政治的诉求，还有他们对于国家和社会未来的愿景，具有创意的看法，得到充分的发挥。 程明智发文告强调，该总团会为年龄18岁至25岁的年轻人举办更多活动，了解捍卫及力争砂拉越自主权重要性，也包括其他政治及文娱性活动。 他认为，该总团必须强调出，捍卫及力争砂拉越自主权，只有依靠本土执政党，并需要年轻人踊跃参与其中，列为年轻人参政一项目标。 他也说，这对于让年轻人了解砂拉越的历史，政府如何运作，以及社会发展，都需要年轻人的参与，也能使年轻人更好地为将来的接班做好准备，非常的重要。
陈超耀参观美里肢体残疾协会水耕种植设备
砂旅游、创意工业和表演艺术部助理部长的拿督陈超耀律师参观美里肢体残疾协会水耕种植设备，并同时聆听该协会对有关水耕法种植的简单汇报。 为让美里肢体残疾协会会员们可以自给自足，增加该会的收入，拿督陈超耀将协助该协会向农业部申请养蜂设备，以此同时也拨款1万令吉充作为该协的活动和佳节庆祝经费。 目前，该协会在位于卑尔骚营的会所共设有3个水耕种植帐篷，耕种白菜、香港菜心、芥兰。倘若3个水耕种植帐篷一起收成的话可有逾百公升的菜收获。 除了目前的3个水耕种植帐篷，该协会会员也在会所后方种植了1200棵的酥心黄梨，进而为该协会增加一些的收入。 拿督陈超耀在聆听该会的简报后，也在会上表示会协助该会再向农业部申请养蜂设备工具，以让该会在蜂蜜收成后也有些收入。 他对于该协会能如此的自力更生大表赞扬与幸慰，并会给予他们协助争取更多的福利。尤其是水耕种植是该协会2020年12月开离别试种，如今有此规模可以看出该协会会员们的辛勤与努力。 美里肢体残疾协会于2016年11月11日获得社团注册局的批准成立。成员都是肢体残疾的人士，目前会员29人。
