MPP cleaning and disinfecting public markets
MPP today carried out thorough cleaning and disinfecting work at the major wet markets and other trading venues in MPP area as a safety precautionary measure against the infectious Coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The cleaning and disinfecting operation was carried out at all 3 popular wet markets, 3rd Mile, Kota Sentosa , Kota Padawan and trading centre at Taman Desa Wira. 罗克强：巴达旺辖区菜市场全面消毒防冠病
巴达旺市议会主席罗克强指出，巴达旺市议会在3哩、哥打圣淘沙及哥打巴达旺菜市场，及德莎威拉小贩中心展开清洁消毒行动，全面防范新冠肺炎。 他表示，每天有超过百人在上述菜市场及小贩中心经营生意，巴达旺市议会因此决定展开清洁及消毒工作，在民众经常接触地区，比如楼梯扶手、摊位桌子及地板进行全面消毒。 他说，这是为了避免冠病病毒传播，让菜市场及小贩中心更加卫生，保障人们安全。 他也赞扬巴达旺市议会职员对遏止冠病传播所作出的努力，并呼吁相关机构也展开同样的清洁及消毒行动，确保公共场合安全。
Sebastian Ting shows the way
SUPP Piasau branch is taking the lead to assist Miri Hospital with face shields for use by medical personnel treating Covid-19 patients. One thousand face shields was done by Piasau SUPP Chairman Datuk Sebastian Ting and his branch members yesterday.
