Batu Kawa students receives school items
100 Batu Kawah students have a nice end to their year as they received their school items from Batu Kawah State assemblyman Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian end of the year. 石角区43项穷人房屋维修计划落实
石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤迄今已经在石角选区完成了43项贫穷人士房屋维修计划，共计将近59万令吉。 其中第一阶段完成37间，共斥资50万，其余6间属於第二阶段计划。 沈桂贤表示，维修贫穷人士房屋计划，是砂政府其中一项协助贫穷人士的发展计划，在这项计划下，政府将会为被鉴定真正需要获得维修房屋的贫穷人士，进行维修。 每一项遴选都是公开透明，在相关制度下，申请进行维修的房子必须获得有关地区社区领袖的推荐和认可，申请也须得到由多个单位组成的委员会鉴定、审核及批准才能进行。 需要获得协助者的其中一项申请条件，必须是获得社会福利部登记者，属於贫穷且需要援助者，每项维修工程费用最高是1万5千令吉。
