Indian community can make use of Unifor, said Dato Sri Dr Sim

沈桂贤：印裔社群可积极申请其他宗教单位拨款
砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督斯里沈桂贤呼吁砂印裔社群积极向砂首长署属下其他宗教单位（Unifor）申请拨款，以展开社会福利及发展活动。 他表示，其他宗教单位基金是砂政府专门为非穆斯林宗教组织设立，协助他们举办活动及提升宗教场所。 他说，自其他宗教单位设立以来，砂人民对它的认识仍不足，不知有这项拨款可申请。其他宗教单位今年共获得砂政府拨款3000万令吉，供宗教组织申请。 沈桂贤在古晋印裔协会举办屠妖节庆典上致词时表示，希望印裔社群能关注其他宗教单位的存在，在有必要时，向该单位申请拨款。他指出，印裔社群可以申请拨款兴建宗教场所。
