Sebastian checking on RTP in Piasau
Datuk Sebastian Ting with JKKK Kpg Piasau Utara site visit to the on going implement RTP projects. He said the two projects which are on-going are 75 -80% completed. Ting said the first project proposed by KK Hipni was to have a cover over the drainage at Surau Datuk Hijrah. The amount RM53,000 was approved for the project. TB is one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world, says Dr. Sim
Minister for Local Government, Datuk Sim Kui Hian said the number of TB in Sarawak is gradually increasing. He disclosed that in the past decade, the reported number of TB cases in Sarawak had increased by an annual average of 5.9%. In 2008, the number of reported TB cases was 1,821. Meanwhile, in 2018, a total of 3,121 TB cases reported. That is slightly more than 70% increment of reported TB cases in the state within a span of 10 years.
