陈超耀欢迎增加大学预科班配额措施
砂人联党秘书长拿督陈超耀欢迎教育部增设1000个大学预科班名额，并让华裔申请的措施。 他希望这措施有助于让砂拉越及沙巴获得更多配额。 教育部长马智礼日前宣布增设1000个大学预科班名额，开放让非巫裔申请。 陈超耀指出，这宣布值得赞扬，尤其是将为低收入家庭华裔生争取更多配额。同时，此消息对华社也是一大好消息。 他感激教育部长积极培育国家英才，为莘莘学子提供更多机会，同时也相信砂沙可以获得更多配额。 马智礼表示，2018及2019年大学预科班名额将分配给大马教育文凭考试优异生申请，该部门目前接获8万4891份申请，其中包括2万40份是丰土著生。截至目前，只有4068名非土著生在大学预科班就读，这是政府教育发展政策的一部分，尤其是提供低收入家庭的学生提供教育。
Opportunity for matriculation programmes for Chinese students
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting Chew Yew requested for more than 1000 places in matriculation programmes for Chinese students and requests for Sarawak and Sabah.
