中国驻古晋总领事馆捐款予华校
中国驻古晋领事馆捐出5万5000令吉的捐款予10间华校，以展现中国对于砂拉越的友谊精神，以及支持砂拉越的华教、文化与经济发展。这是中国政府首次捐款给古晋的华校。 这项捐款移交仪式是于今早石角民立中学举行，由砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员见证。 沈桂贤希望中国政府能继续与本地华社促进合作与友谊，并期望驻古晋领事馆可以向本地企业家，引起一带一路的商机。 也是石角区国阵候选人的沈桂贤说，他也希望中国当局，可以考虑石角的旅游业发展潜能，将之发展为旅游景点之一。
