CNY visits by members of Piasau Branch
SUPP Secretary general, Dato’ Sebastian Ting and members from the Piasau branch started their 4th day Chinese New Year visiting in Miri. The first house they dropped by was the Former Principal and Chairman of SJK (c) Chung Hua Krokop, Mr Tie Fong Teck and his family. As the weather for the day is fine, Ting said he wanted to visit as many friends as possible to share the happy occasion with them.

砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤国会上议员于大年初三，率领砂人联党青年团总团长陈开市议员、人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星、青年团宣教秘书符祥威、妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽、人联党中央妇女组顾问郑莉薲前往前该党前秘书长拿督沈庆辉、古晋中董会主席黄良杰、砂州副财政司长拿督李年香及人联党资深党员钟国权住家贺节。
Datuk Sim Kui Hian Chinese New Year visits
Dr Sim is of the view that it fortunate the Chinese New Year Celebrations spreads over a total of 15 days. He believed it is a good time to visit family members, especially those who are senior, good friends and those in their senior years. It has been his personal philosophy to visit them more often whilst they are still around and friends. The SUPP President added that while he enjoyed participating in Chinese New Year gatherings and dinners, it is home visits like these that we all will be able to exchange more and better ideas.
钱本统新年开放门户
砂人联党武吉阿瑟支部主席兼国阵南兰区主席钱本统年初一早上在私邸开放门户，接待党员及各族人民前来贺年。 钱本统伉俪及担任市议员的儿子钱进一等党同志在大门口迎接民众到来。钱宅入口还安排了一个财神爷向12岁以下的儿童分发红包。中午之前已接待超过2千民众，发出的红包超过1千个。
张庆信：州选候选人需来自国阵
砂拉越民进党主席拿督斯里张庆信太平局绅强调，来届州选的国阵候选人，必须来自国阵成员党。 他表示，此事已纳入砂州国阵成员党共识中。“候选人必须来自国阵成员党，而非党外人士。” 他昨日出席该党砂州中部新春团拜后，这么说。 他强调，砂民进党坚决反对所谓的亲国阵政党，在来届州选代表国阵出战。
