首长警告外人勿影响砂州和谐
砂首席部长丹斯里阿德南沙登警告外人勿干预及影响砂州安宁与和平环境。 他今日透过文告指出，砂州一直以来都维持安宁与和平，各族人民和谐相处，这也是砂州的传统面貌。 “作为具有责任感的执政政府，我们运用联邦宪法赋予我们的移民管制条例，阻止任何宗教狂热、种族主义或刻意捣乱的份子进入砂州；若我们发现这些人已在州内，我们也会毫不犹疑驱逐他们。” 首长强调，这是为了确保砂州的和谐持续下去，不会遭到任何一方破坏。

砂人联党中央宣教秘书拿督陈超耀赞扬首席部长丹斯里阿德南沙登正确点出马来西亚成立的过程与真相。 他说，首长在接受媒体访问时，清楚表明砂州在参组马来西亚之前，是个独立自主的国家。 “我们不是加入马来西亚，而是参组马来西亚。” 陈超耀表示，砂州、沙巴以及当初的马来亚都拥有同等的地位，这是不容置疑的；在1963年9月16日，砂州摆脱英殖民政府统治，宣告独立，并于同年9月16日参与马来西亚。 他认为，首长阿德南沙登对于砂州参组马来西亚有深入的理解，因此，他深信在这名领袖的领导下，砂州会有更加美好的明天。 砂人联党青年团总团长陈开表示，首长阿德南沙登应该不断提醒砂州人民，尤其是年轻一代有关砂州参组马来西亚的真相与历史。 他说，在维护砂州特权与权益之余，也必须与联邦保持稳定与和谐的关系。 砂人联党妇女组主席郑丽萍说，阿德南沙登在上任不久，就明确表明砂州参组马来西亚的历史，这让人赞赏。 “我相信，阿德南有能力带给砂州人民更加美好的明天。”
