SUPP “Chap Goh Meh”
SUPP will be holding a Chinese New year “Chap Goh Meh” celebration Bersama Rakyat on March 6 this year at the Padang Sukan Jubilee.
In a press conference, Woman Chief, Datin Jennifer Wee and Advisor Tnay Li Ping said the occasion would be for all, especially those less fortunate.
She said besides the Old folks home, orphanage, cancer patients, SUPP will have a fun-filled evening which included stage show, fireworks display, and lucky draw. Everyone would be given a food packet.
The lucky draw first prize will be worth RM3,688 and there are a total of RM36,000 worth of lucky draws for the night.
Wee said there will be 10,000 tickets to be given out and any one interested can go to any SUPP branches or sub branches to collect them.
For each ticket, they are entitled for the lucky draw.
Besides the food, fun, show and lucky draw, shutter bugs are invited to send in their best photo of the event. The first prize will be RM800, second prize RM500 and third RM300. There will be three consolation prizes of RM100 each.
