SUPP press release on appointment of three new Penghulu in Sibu

SUPP wishes to express its profound disappointment and outrage over the appointment of three new Penghulu in Sibu as announced by Sibu District office on 30th April, 2015. These new appointments are in contrary to the announcements made by the Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan to freeze any new appointments in numerous public occasions, as well as to SUPP CWC members in its meetings with the Chief Minister, indicating something is seriously amiss in these appointments. SUPP will urgently seek an explanation from the Chief Minister.

SUPP Central leadership is fully aware of the outrage of its members in Sibu and fully empathise with their sentiments. However, SUPP Central leadership wishes to urge its Sibu members to remain calm and united. Only with unity that we will overcome and prevail all the obstacles.
