Sarawak Chief Minister chips in to help Chinese independent schools
Local government and Housing Minister, Dato’ Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian thanked Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for allocating RM10 million for Chinese Middle Schools in Sarawak for 2021.
Dr Sim said Sarawak government was the first to recognise Unified Examination certificate (UEC) and has continuously channelled education grants to all 14 Chinese middle schools in Sarawak since 2014.
This morning the chief minister handed a mock cheque to the chairman of Board of Management Committee for Kuching Chung Hua Middle School (CHMS) No.1, 3 and 4, Dato Richard Wee.
