Construction of culvert at Jalan Kung Phin
Padawan Municipal Council chairman , Lo Khere Chiang, apologised to local residents at Jalan Kung Phin here for a culvert project which is delayed and caused a part of the road to be closed.
Lo who is also state Assemblyman for Batu Kitang explained that the culverts, constructed to replace the old ones, is expected to be completed by next month.
He said vehicles can only passed through after two weeks of completion to give the project concrete to harden.
He went to view the culvert with MPP councillors, community leaders and members of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) during the inspection.
