State Assemblyman for Piasau, Datuk Sebastian Ting agreed with Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg that the special committee to study on how to implement the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) should also include the State Assemblymen from Sarawak. 美里3地区本周末狂犬病疫苗注射活动
砂兽医服务局将于本周末，即13及14日在美里3个地区举行免费注射狂犬病疫苗活动，地点分别是罗东篮球场、公共花园及美里交通岛花园。 砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师指出，上述3个地区的免费注射狂犬病疫苗活动是从上午9时开始至下午4时。狗主可携带狗前往注射狂犬病疫苗，预防狂犬病。 同时，美里兽医服务局也欢迎民众带宠物前往注射狂犬病疫苗，开放时间是星期一至星期五上午8时30分至下午4时30分。联络号码是085-411866。 陈超耀表示，基于美里已被鉴定为狂犬病疫区，每个人都必须扮演自己角色，共同对抗狂犬病。他说，虽然目前美里没出现人类感染狂犬病案例，但民众还是不能掉以轻心。 他称，截至目前为止，砂兽医服务局已为美里区超过3000只狗注射狂犬病疫苗。

There will be another round of free rabies vaccination for dogs which will be held this weekend (Oct 13 and 14) at three locations in Miri. Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting said the mass vaccination campaign starts from 9am to 4pm will be held at Lutong Shell basketball court, Taman Awam Miri Bumiko, and Taman Bulatan Miri in Piasau Jaya.
