Datuk Sebastian Ting giving moral support at anti-rabies vaccination program
State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting joined dog owners at the Taman Awam, Miri Vaccination counter yesterday morning. Ting who was most concern of confirmed rabies in two areas, Piasau Jaya and Lutong Shell said it is sad that Miri was one of the confirmed districts. He called to all Miriams to help fight against rabies by vaccinating their pets and not to abandon them in the street. Batu Kawa Wetland Waterfront Park
Minister for Local Government and Housing, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian visited the State first proposed wetland park recently. 石角河滨公园工程料可明年1月招标
人联党主席兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤披露，砂拉越财政部已委任咨询顾问公司负责策划兴建石角河滨公园的设计工作。 他日前与巴达旺市议会秘书和该工程咨询顾问公司代表到石角天师爷巡视计划中的河岸，指示该两个单位密切合作，确保招标文件能尽快完成。 他说，若一切顺利，工程可在明年1月招标。 石角河滨公园发展计划将分成多个阶段进行，目前先拟定第一阶段的建设工程，之后根据经费继续推展和进行其他阶段。土地与测量局今年8月通知砂策划单位，使用作为美化石角河岸的地段已获得批准，随后砂财政部在9月委任咨询顾问公司，以负责策划该工程。 也是砂地方政府及房屋部长沈桂贤今年向砂政府提出美化石角河岸计划，随后砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里宣布拨款500万作为计划的部分经费。
