旧房子须进行电线检查
为了安全起见,砂人联党公共投诉局呼吁所有居住在旧房子,特别是店屋和木屋的住户们,对他们居所的电线进行检查。 这是鉴于近来州内几个地区相继发生的火灾事故,都涉及比较老旧的木屋和店屋,数百人一夜间失去家园而且面对严重的财物损失。 为此,人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星吁请民众们采取必要的防范措,聘请受认证的电子技工检查家里的电线,防范于未然。 “房子会老旧,家里的电线也是如此。这些电线很多都是隐藏在墙壁或天花板里面,我们根本看不见,也不懂它的情况如何。电线短路是州内火灾案件的其中一个主要原因。” 聘请受认证的电子技工到家里检查,他指出,便可鉴定这些隐藏的电线或电板是否有出现问题。 “当电线残旧了便可能发生短路的情况。更可怕的是,当我们发现时都已经太迟了。因此,我恳求民众们,起码每五年聘请专业电子技工到家里检查电线。” 为了确保住户,特别是自己亲爱的家人的安全,叶耀星认为,上述检查是非常有必要的。

A young cochlear implant candidate, Noor Batrisyia Ramlan received financial aid from the Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in an effort first initiated by Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting.
