Chinese schools in Pelawan area need funds for maintenance, upgrades
A walkabout/visit was made by Michael Tiang and his team to six Chinese schools in the Pelawan area: SJKC Tiong Hin, SJKC Guong Ann, SJKC Su Lai, SJK Taman Rajang, SJKC Dung Sang and SJKC Tung Hua. Although all the schools visited are noted to require funds for maintenance and upgrading, the group also paid attention to the welfare of the teachers.

砂首长署政治秘书程明智于日前巡视诗巫柏拉旺区全部的六间华小。 相关华小分别是中兴小学、士来小学、光安小学、敦化小学、东山小学以及拉让花园小学。 他称，虽然各个学校在硬体维修提升方面都有重要要求，不过他也特别关注教师们的需求和福利待遇。 他强调，这是因为教师是孩子的灵魂工程师，因此有必要获得注重。
邀请州元首出席722庆典

Jalan Stampin Baru residents complained of frequent accidents
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) was recently approached by residents in Stampin Resettlement Scheme, Jalan Stampin Baru who complained of frequent accidents at the entrance of Lorong 2. According to the residents concerned, it could be due to the narrow access/entrance and the fast traffic travelling along Jalan Stampin Baru.
