Jalan Stampin Baru residents complained of frequent accidents
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) was recently approached by residents in Stampin Resettlement Scheme, Jalan Stampin Baru who complained of frequent accidents at the entrance of Lorong 2.
According to the residents concerned, it could be due to the narrow access/entrance and the fast traffic travelling along Jalan Stampin Baru.
Following the requests for assistance received, SUPP PCB Chief Wilfred Yap together with other SUPP members had gone to inspect and assess the situation.
SUPP PCB have written to Kuching South City Council and Public Works Department for the widening of the entrance at Lorong 2 and for a yellow box to be painted as it would be able to warn the public to be more careful and slow down when approaching Lorong 2, Jalan Stampin Baru.
SUPP PCB would like to thank Kuching Water Board for their speedy action in repairing leaking water pipes at various areas in Stampin Resettlement Scheme which was causing low water pressure.
