Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology
During a recent meeting of the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (APSC) 2015 at Abu Dhabi between 29 April-2 May 2015, Dr Sim handed his Presidency (2013-2015) of the Society to Dr Prasart of Thailand. It is of interest to note that Dr Sim is the first Malaysian in 50 years to be President of APSC.
Dr Sim is very happy that we as Malaysian can be in position to lead the national societies in cardiology around the Asian Pacific and get the transformation of the 50 year old organisation going, keeping up with time for the benefit of three billion people in Asian Pacific where the number 1 ailment is the heart disease.
Attached were photos taken during the opening. The one in Arab robe is Dr Wael Al Mahmeed, organising chair of the APSC 2015. The other one is Dr Nadin, President of the Cardiovascular ultrasound.
