Tree pruning works along Airport Road from April 16 to 23
The Miri City Council has issued a precautionary notice regarding scheduled tree pruning works along Airport Road, Miri.
The works will be carried out from April 16 to April 23, 2026, in two daily sessions from 8.30 am to 11.30 am and from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
The affected stretch covers Airport Road from the traffic light at the Emart Miri junction to the Miri Airport Terminal.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when passing through the area, adhere to all safety signage and instructions, and consider using alternative routes to avoid delays.
The council also stated that it will not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss occurring within the work zone.
In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the tree pruning works will be rescheduled.
The council apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their cooperation.
