Bringing lights to the Batu Kitang folks
The state government has approved RM1.4 million for street lighting projects in Batu Kitang constituency.
Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang said the approved area covered the stretch of Jalan Stephen Yong, Kampung Haji Baki to Batu Kitang bridge and Kampung Bunga Rampai.
Works has commenced about a week ago and he hoped that by the end of the year, the whole project will be completed.
He thanked Chief Minster, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari.for taking the welfare of the people to heart.
Besides, he added, it was one of the pledges of the State government before the election.
