Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his entourage yesterday visited Miri.
The first residence the TYT, his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib and entourage visited was former president of Miri Malay Association Dato Wan Morshidi Tuanku Abdul Rahman and from there, they proceeded to Jatti Mereik Association president, Dato Abdillah Abdul Rahim, followed by the chairman of Darul Ehsan Mosque Welfare and Orphans Bureau Talhah Mansor.
In the afternoon, the visit continued to the house of PBB publicity chief Dato Usop Sani Wahap, followed by Lambir assemblyman Ripin Lamat and Assistant Minister of Women, Family and Childhood Development and Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus and Sibuti MP Ahmad Lai Bujang, which was last visited for the day,
In the entourage were Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Industrial and Entrepreneur Development Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Assistant Minister of Transportation Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Assistant Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin, Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting, Miri Mayor Adam Yii, Miri District Officer Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusup and Miri Resident Sherrina Hussaini.
