Harden: stay united behind party to remain strong
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Simanggang branch chairman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis wants party members to stand behind the party to ensure it remains strong together with other Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties.
Harden who is also Assistant Minister of Community Well Being, was speaking at the party’s 58th anniversary celebration at his home yesterday, that the strength of a party depends on the number of members, and strong cooperation among members and leaders.
He said SUPP is one of the oldest BN component parties in Sarawak with a membership of over 100,000.
He called to SUPP members from Simanggang, Engkilili, Pantu and Lingga branches will continue to support current party leaders so the party will continue to be strong together with other BN component parties.
