SUPP on the new Chief Minister

Local government Minister, Senator Datuk Prof Dr. Sim Kui Hian said he is sure that the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) will work together with the new Chief Minister as he congratulated Datuk Amar Abang Jo.

“With proven experience in the public sphere, we have full confidence that Datuk Amar Abang Johari will provide the progressive leadership and zeal that he has demonstrated when serving alongside the late Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem in fighting for the rights and autonomy of Sarawak. We firmly believe that the new Chief Minister will resume the late Adenan Satem’s emphasis in advancing the interests of all communities fairly, including for the Chinese community in Sarawak. We take heart that Datuk Amar Abang Johari has always been very supportive of the minority interests and promoting multiracial harmony, including funds to the local Chinese schools, said Dr. Sim who is SUPP PResident.

The Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) is prepared to work alongside the new Chief Minister, to support each other as longtime friend and comrade, together we continue with our ongoing common struggle for a better, brighter future for homeland Sarawak.
